WoodieWoody Pak - “Well my dad named me after Woodrow Wilson, who happened to be, actually, one of revisionist histories most racist presidents.” This tidbit was how my conversation started with Woody Pak – musician, CEO of Chaos Theory Music, loving husband, and doting father of two adorable children. We met in West LA over iced coffee on a breezy summer afternoon where we let our conversation flow from music to marijuana. Growing up in Hawaii, Woody started learning guitar in high school and took it upon himself to practice 6 to 8 hours a day. “High school was where music was for myself. I was disciplined and intense, and not really musically mature but just proud of that self imposed sadism – it really laid a solid foundation for my playing.” - Read

YouneeYounee started her unlikely music career as a video blogger on UCC (the Korean version of Youtube) while still in college. In addition to sensational music, her videos feature her talking about her love of music and her musical technique. - Read SoniaLike many other gifted artists, Sonia is fluent in a wide range of musical genres. Her passionate violin playing has been heard with leading symphony orchestras and jazz musicians throughout North America. This young jazz violinist/singer exudes an unpretentious sophistication. Her friendly stage persona and well-chosen song sets are perfect for intimate club settings as well as large performance venues. She combines the precision of her classical training with the improvisational character of jazz. The result is a mellow yet intricate style that is exhilaratingly romantic.
SethSeth MacFarlane is a busy man… but you know what they say about all work and no play. The day I meet him at the Family Guy Studios in Los Angeles, he seems slightly disoriented. Being the creator/ writer/ producer/ director/ voice actor of a couple of wildly successful animated shows on prime-time television comes with its fair share of pressure. His stress-eliminating weapon of choice is a night out on the town with a glass (or two?) of Jack Daniel’s. So although this afternoon he has every right to be annoyed with a pesky writer, he is completely gracious in taking a break from his whirlwind schedule to sit down with me.
